Testing in conjunction with the company performing the road works

We were approached by a road maintenance company with a proposal to conduct tests on laser cleaning of rust and residual bituminous substrate after mechanical treatment of the metal part of the bridge roadway.

The customer had tried various methods of treatment, which for various reasons were either ineffective or inapplicable in terms of the environmental component of the processes.

The work was carried out with the F-Clean 100 BP. The joint tests showed that the most effective cleaning method would be a combination of waterjet treatment of the surface followed by cleaning of the resulting surface rust with a laser device.
